CIDON AWARDED THE PROJECT FOR THE NEW PARADOR DE MOLINA DE ARAGÓN

Es bien dicho CIDON strengthens its collaboration with Paradores de Turismo de España with the design and furnishing of the Parador de Molina de Aragón

CIDON, a leading company in the hotel equipment and decoration sector, was awarded the Parador de Molina de Aragón (Guadalajara) project in May 2024. This new Parador will be an important tourist attraction and an economic driver for the city, attracting travelers to the municipality and generating a growing economic impact.

The collaboration between CIDON and Paradores de Turismo de España has spanned nearly 25 years, an alliance that has yielded highly satisfactory results for both the client and the users. Among the notable projects they have developed together are the Parador de la Granja, the Parador de Jaén, the Parador de Lérida, the Parador de Mazagón, as well as those of Monforte de Lemos, Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil, Oropesa, and other significant ones.

In Molina, the Parador is strategically located to enjoy views of the castle and the medieval wall.

The CIDON team delivered a strong project to win the competition for the interior design of the building. As is customary with Paradores, they will also complete the execution and furnishing, including logistics and installation.

In keeping with the striking architectural design of corten steel and glass, and reclaiming the local tradition of using stone in construction, a cutting-edge interior design will be implemented, without sacrificing warmth. Wood and upholstery will play a key role, featuring soft, organic shapes to soften the building’s solid presence. Within a harmonious color palette of earth tones, elements with a carefully studied interplay of vibrant colors emerge.

The Parador de Molina de Aragón has 24 rooms, each harmoniously blending tradition and modernity by combining pieces from different eras with innovative furniture.
