The Parador occupies the Renaissance palace within the fortified complex facing the Sierra de Gredos. Being the first monumental stop of the surroundings in 1930, the treatment of its interiors combines the current comfort with the experience of centuries of living history.
The decoration is stately, with luxury, sobriety and grandeur. The rotundity of the spaces coexists serenely with control of color, light and details, There are studied mural graphics, superb matts and a careful selection of furniture. All this contributes to an evocative experience of the history of Spain, in a sublime building, and in the landscape framework typical of an engraving by Roberts.
