CIDON carries out the interior design, equipment, and installation of the Vincci Molviedro hotel.
CIDON Interior Design & Contract, experts in interior architecture and decoration, as well as in FF&E and OS&E equipment management for the hotel sector, has participated alongside the Cajasol Foundation for Vincci Hotels in the design, interior design, equipment, logistics, and installation of furniture for the newly inaugurated 4-star Hotel Vincci Molviedro in Seville.
The hotel chain reinforces its commitment to Seville with a new establishment in the city. The hotel, which has undergone a complete transformation of the 4 buildings, rooms, and common spaces, totaling 4,556 square meters, has been entirely designed implementing a timeless and fresh style, where the “in&out” concept is not missing, created exclusively for this hotel, where every detail and personal character of the Vincci Hotels chain has been taken care of. The design, a tribute to Seville’s tradition of experiencing interior and exterior spaces, pays homage to the courtyards, which embrace, invite, and reflect the light, color, and joy of the city.
The renovation is part of the hotel chain’s commitment to offering the highest quality to its guests, both in service and facilities, and to maintaining a constant update of its accommodations, in line with new trends, needs, and ways of traveling. The location is also remarkable, located in the central Plaza de Molviedro in Seville, one of the most relevant and popular areas of the city, it opened its doors on December 19, 2022, in an iconic enclave of the Sevillian capital, where it is also very close to the other accommodation that the chain owns in the city.
A building with history
The project carried out the unification of the four ancient buildings that make up this hotel, in addition to the other three buildings dedicated to apartments, one of them deeply rooted in the city as the former School of Hospitality. Each one has been integrated with its different characteristics, respecting and integrating, among others, the archaeological remains that contribute their pure essence to this history-filled hotel, which houses a well-preserved stretch of the city wall inside. Likewise, upon entering, among other details, the impressive mural of hand-painted artisanal tiles located in the hotel’s reception stands out.
Throughout the development, the distinctive spirit of Seville was continuously kept in mind, its joy, its colors, and traditions. Therefore, unique elements were designed, with modern and avant-garde touches that included nods to the local culture. It was a challenge for CIDON to adapt to the complex architecture, having to make changes without modifying the initial structure; for this reason, the project was entirely customized with CIDON’s trusted manufacturers. The final result is a spectacular space full of well-crafted details with a unique atmosphere and design, bringing great satisfaction to the property, as well as to the operating chain.
The project
Vincci Hotels aims for exclusive design, the latest technology, customization, the best team of professionals, and the most modern management techniques in the hospitality world to present the customer with a renewed image. In addition, the hotels are characterized by always being located in unique locations, which has allowed for continuous growth, both nationally and internationally. Since its creation in 2001, Vincci Hotels has achieved rapid positioning among 4 and 5-star hotels, highlighting its commitment to the Spanish, Portuguese, Tunisian, and Greek markets, with a total of 42 Hotels.
The CIDON team, composed of Patricio Pemán, Marta Galicia, and Raquel Vallejo as Project Managers, Design and Development along with Aquilino Parra as assembly director, has been immersed in this project since its inception in 2019.
The chromatic tones chosen by the CIDON interior design team are present in the equipment and furniture of all the hotel’s spaces, harmonizing with the Sevillian setting, conveying a feeling of luxury and comfort linked to Sevillian tradition. Noble materials such as leather and wood have been implemented, combined with a selection of textiles that offer an updated concept full of Andalusian touches.
In this specific project, CIDON has carried out work both in interior design and decoration, as well as in custom-made furniture equipment exclusively for this hotel, which has a total of 88 accommodations, including 70 rooms and 18 luxury apartments, a la carte restaurant, a beautiful central courtyard, a bar with nods to traditional Sevillian culture, and a spacious rooftop terrace with a cocktail bar, which features a spectacular outdoor mini-pool.
Furniture disassembly, vertical surface repair, smooth plastic painting application on vertical and horizontal surfaces, were all carried out by CIDON. Vincci Molviedro 4* is the second establishment that the hotel chain has in the Sevillian capital, joining Vincci La Rábida 4*, inaugurated in 2003.
